Janet Paul, PT
Janet Paul graduated from Boston University with a Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1990. She has enjoyed working with varied patient populations, all ages and backgrounds, for the past 26 years in both the inpatient and outpatient settings with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation. She has advanced training in evaluating and treating orthopedic and spinal diagnoses, as well as experience with aggressive spine rehab programs similar to New England Baptist’s Spine Boot Camp. Helping people succeed and achieve their goals, whether it be return to physically demanding work or being able to fold their own laundry, brings her great personal satisfaction.
Janet recognizes the importance of treating the whole person and tailoring treatment plans to include task specific functional strengthening as well as using manual techniques to restore mobility and decrease painful restrictions. Of particular importance to her is the role of educating patients on the cause of pain and dysfunction as well as teaching home programs for self care and maintenance to prevent re-injury. Knowing that no one really “wants” to go to physical therapy, her philosophy of treatment includes making the experience as enjoyable as possible. She has recently expanded her knowledge base to include developing work conditioning programs, administering pre-employment physical capacity screens and performing essential functions job analysis for determining physical demands for specific jobs.
Karen L. Pruyne, PT, DPT
Karen is a licensed Physical Therapist who has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics since 2007. Karen received her doctoral degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. She began her career working for a hospital-based outpatient PT clinic mentoring with a shoulder rehabilitation and baseball pitching specialist. She also gained experience in the acute care setting as she worked per diem for the hospital’s inpatient unit. She then accepted a position in a private practice in Blue Bell, PA where she expanded her clinical and managing skills. Karen relocated to Massachusetts in 2011 and began a mentorship in pelvic floor rehabilitation services which she practiced for over 4 years. Karen has been a Physical Therapist with Physical Therapy and Fitness of Raynham since 2015 and continues to expand on her knowledge as an outpatient orthopedic therapist. Special interests include core/pelvic stabilization, rehabilitation of the post-operative shoulder, and knee/hip sports-related injuries.
Joe Driscoll, PTA

Joe Driscoll is a clinical specialist at Physical Therapy and Fitness of Avon as a licensed physical therapist assistant. He has been practicing since 2000.
Joe’s area of expertise is in orthopedics, spinal dysfunction, sports therapy, and work place injuries. He is accomplished in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise for functional biomechanics together with return to work conditioning and spine boot camp.
Joe has a long range of experience including several years in the fitness industry as a gym owner and fitness trainer, a professional consultant to local police departments for physical fitness training, and a physical therapist assistant for post operative rehabilitation at New England Baptist Hospital.
Joe enjoys a rewarding and successful career in physical therapy with exceptional dedication and skills for providing outstanding hands on care to all his patients.
Suzanne Kelley, Patient Care Coordinator
Suzanne brings many years of experience in customer service to her role as Patient Care Coordinator. She is well versed in the varied skills needed to put patients at ease as they embark on the journey of physical therapy. Her pleasant demeanor and attention to detail with insurance issues and scheduling helps to promote a culture of cool, calm and collected operations in the clinic. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her gi-normous dogs.
